Jennifer Stewart, OD

Dr Stewart is a partner at Norwalk Eye Care, a multi-doctor private practice located in Norwalk, CT. She practices primary care, with an interest in contact lenses, dry eye disease and sports vision. Norwalk Eye Care was a 2018 recipient of the Coopervision Best Practices Award. Dr Stewart was also the 2019 recipient of the Theia Award for Innovation for her work in sports and performance vision by Women in Optometry.

Dr Stewart is also the co-founder and Chief Vision Officer at Performance 20/20, a practice specializing in sports and performance vision. Dr Stewart and her team have worked with youth, elite, college and professional athletes of all sports to improve their performance. Performance 20/20 is located in Stamford, CT.

She is a frequent contributor to optometric publications, and has an active consulting practice, advising practitioners on incorporating sports and performance vision into their practices, as well as overall business development and management. She is an Advisory Board member for the International Sports Vision Association, a delegate for the NECO Alumni Board, and a Director for the Connecticut Association of Optometrists.

Dr. Stewart is a former Division I track and field athlete and still holds two college records. She is also an active triathlete, runner and Olympic weightlifter.
